I have recently updated my game theory research page with a new addition written with Subhadip Chakrabarti and Lina Mallozzi. This research note introduces a generalisation of the đ-Core solution for non-cooperative games in normal form. Our results demonstrate that this generalised đ-Core is non-empty for separable games that possess a socially optimal Nash equilibrium. However, we also provide examples showing that the non-emptiness of the generalized đ-Core cannot be guaranteed for broader categories of normal form games. This work advances our understanding of đ-Core solutions and their applicability in different game-theoretic contexts.
This note is also available on the arXiv internet research database.
